I can't stress enough how great Potomac Family Dental is. They restored my smile, scheduling is easy and quick, the whole office is so attentive and welcoming! I used to be afraid of going to the dentist, but Doctor Uthman and his team removed all of my fear. I now go to every appointment feeling confident. You can tell that Doctor Uthman treats his staff like family and with the utmost respect and he does the same for his patients. My only regret is that I didn't find this office years ago, but hey, better late than never :). I have a daughter with special needs and the dentist she has now is great. However, if this office is taking new patients, I am definitely making Dr. Uthman her new forever dentist. I highly recommend Potomac Family Dental. Check in process was super fast (recommend filling out the paperwork ahead of time). Everyone in the back, dental assistant, hygienist and the dentist were very polite and welcoming. They explained what they were going to do beforehand. They made sure I understood everything and took their time to answer all my questions. Didn't feel rushed at all. They were all very caring and knowledgeable. The check out process was also fast. The receptionist kindly explained what my out of pocket costs are for my treatment and was very polite. Cannot say enough good things about this place. It is the best dental office I have ever been to (and I’ve been to MANY throughout my life). As a person who has suffered from extensive severe dental trauma in the past, I initially walked into this office filled with anxiety. However, the bedside manner is outstanding and Dr. Uthman put all of my worries at ease. He’s been practicing dentistry longer than I’ve been alive and knows what he’s doing. I’m so happy to have finally found an office I really trust. All of the staff are very caring. I got a dental implant here and Dr. Uthman made it painless, minimally invasive, and carefully explained everything to me. I have severe dental anxiety, so when we moved away from my last dentist it took me far too long to find a new dentist. When I could no longer procrastinate due to what I thought was a cracked molar, a neighbor suggested Potomac Family Dental. I’m incredibly thankful I took her suggestion and made the appointment because Dr. Uthman and his staff are incredible! He understood my anxiety, and when I was told it was my wisdom tooth that needed removal I was in full on panic mode. All I could think of is the bone crunching stories I have heard from others who have had their wisdoms removed, so I was skeptical of Dr. Uthman’s assurances that I wouldn’t feel anything. Sure enough, true to his word all I felt were the slight pinches from the Novocain shot. I was so surprised I blurted, “You are GREAT!”. Dr. Uthman is hands down the best dentist I have ever been to, including his staff. It is quite apparent that they all love their jobs, and are very good at what they do. Best Dental Family in Woodbridge hands down. Very caring and attentive. From the very first moment the receptionists greeting you with all smile, you feel at home. Everyone takes the time to ensure you are very well taken care of from start to finish!
